Playschool Graduates of 2020

End of summer is always bittersweet. Kiddos who have grown up coming to Steph’s get old enough to venture off to kindergarten 😭. Each year we celebrate those graduates and all the daycare kiddos for a summer well played. Next week, when the big kids head off to school (or off to their home office for virtual learning),we will welcome new friends.

Here’s a few photos from our graduation/celebration.

Together again 💜

After a 9 week “break” due to covid I’m so happy to see these faces together again. They all came back like we just had one weekend away.

Kuddos to all my current families. All the kids came back so well-mannered, hand washing pros AND 2 fully potty trained!!!

They were all welcomed back with their summer fun gear waiting on their hooks. New towels, bubble buckets, water squirters and lei’s. Here’s to lots of summer fun!

Busy “work”

This group loves “work time”. While I fully believe learning through play is essential at this age, sitting down to work on letters and coloring is just as fun for this group. Today the older girls practiced tracing/writing the letter Rr and the littlest ones enjoyed scribbling 😉

The day of love

“Always leave people better than you found them. Hug the hurt, kiss the broken, befriend the lost, love the lonely”

💜💜💜💜

Our Valentine celebration was about celebrating kindness and love every day, not just valentines day. We had a “fancy” snack (heart cinnamon rolls and berry smoothies) with real candles (they were impressed), followed by making and decorating heart valentines for one another. They enjoyed filling each of their friends mailbox with some love ♥️

True love is trying to turn carrots into hearts 😬
