After a 9 week “break” due to covid I’m so happy to see these faces together again. They all came back like we just had one weekend away.
Kuddos to all my current families. All the kids came back so well-mannered, hand washing pros AND 2 fully potty trained!!!
They were all welcomed back with their summer fun gear waiting on their hooks. New towels, bubble buckets, water squirters and lei’s. Here’s to lots of summer fun!

This group loves “work time”. While I fully believe learning through play is essential at this age, sitting down to work on letters and coloring is just as fun for this group. Today the older girls practiced tracing/writing the letter Rr and the littlest ones enjoyed scribbling 😉

“Always leave people better than you found them. Hug the hurt, kiss the broken, befriend the lost, love the lonely”

Our Valentine celebration was about celebrating kindness and love every day, not just valentines day. We had a “fancy” snack (heart cinnamon rolls and berry smoothies) with real candles (they were impressed), followed by making and decorating heart valentines for one another. They enjoyed filling each of their friends mailbox with some love ♥️

Summer break as flown by at Stephy’s!! The kids were absolutely amazing this summer and to say I’m going to miss those school kiddos is an understatement. They were so fun, kind, respectful, helpful, happy, caring and FUNNY! I feel so blessed to have gotten to spend the summer with them. They were such a great addition to our girl squad we usually have 🙂 Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the last few weeks.

The lunch they talk about all year. Egg lunch!

Each egg is stuffed with yummy goodness and they can’t wait to “crack” each one open and find what’s inside. This year we did, Turkey breast, cheese cubes, dried cranberries, oyster crackers, banana chips and peas.
Their smiles say it all ♡

I love their love for yoga. Such a great way to calm our bodies, yet still work our large muscles when we can’t get outside. These girls are good at the poses too!

I can’t believe it’s been almost 13 years since opening my childcare. I’ve opened this home up to several families in those years, caring and loving on their babies. All the little feet that have crawled on these floors and learned to walk on these floors. Hundreds of little finger prints on the windows and walls. All the little laughs, smiles, hugs and friends made here. I could go on and on. Our current location has been a good one.
A new chapter….new memories to be made.
The new location of Stephy’s Angles will be located between the Charlotte and Vermontville/Nashville area (8 miles west of down-town Charlotte) There will be possibilities of openings in late 2017 for 18 months and up. If you will be looking for a home away from home childcare we may have openings for a couple fun, loving, easy-going families to join us on our journey out in the country. There will be many fun new learning experiences for the children.
